Puzzle Technician (Electronics) | Bayswater HQ
Escape This is looking for a Puzzle Technician (Electronics) to join our Perth HQ backstage team.
Position Type: Full Time permanent.
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.
Job Role:
Electronics power the special effects, theatrics and incredible puzzles within our escape rooms. In this role you will be working alongside our Props Master, Set Builder and Creative Director as we design, build, modify, improve and maintain the electronic wizardry that amazes and stumps our guests on a daily basis.
The offered role includes both workshop and on-site requirements.
This role would suit a Graduate student or skilled hobbyist looking to broaden their experience and apply their knowledge in an exciting commercial environment.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Computer literate;
- Arduino and Raspberry Pi programming skills (C+, C++ & Python based);
- Familiarity with Visual studio code would be highly regarded;
- Good Analytical skills and a can-do persona, willing to be part of a highly skilled and fun technical team.
- A soldering iron ninja;
- Sound knowledge of electronics components and their application;
- Crafty, creative and highly technical;
- Experience working safely with a variety of tools; and
- Efficient, organised and able to work to strict deadlines. Flexible.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- PCB design and build;
- Cat 5/6 cabling;
- Ethernet and Serial comms;
- Audio system setup and design; and
- Other skills and experience relevant to stage production.
Qualifications: Related qualifications are highly regarded but not essential.

WE WANT YOU! We're looking for customer experience driven Gamesmasters to deliver our brand of TOTAL IMMERSION in brand spanking new Perth CBD venue!
Position Type: Casual and Permanent Part Time Roles
Salary: Per Amusement, Events and Recreation Award.
Job Role:
- Welcoming players and guiding them through electronic check-in.
- Briefing each group on game process and rules.
- Escorting players to their chosen room.
- Actively following each room’s gameplay from monitors.
- Assist with clues as and when required.
- Greet players as they exit game and farewell the group as they leave the venue.
- Reset escape rooms for next group.
- General housekeeping duties.
- Minor maintennce as required.
- Other duties as required.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- As the premier escape rooms operator in Australia, we expect high standards from each of our employees, including:
- Excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Great team skills, comradery and ethic - you must be a teamplayer!
- Enthusiastic and outgoing personality.

Assistant Venue Manager | Perth CBD
The Role: Assistant Venue Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Perth CBD, WA (in-person)
Work Authorisation: Australia (Required)
As Assistant Venue Manager, you’ll work closely with the Venue Manager to ensure every game runs smoothly, safely, and seamlessly.
One shift you might be managing a fully booked Saturday with back-to-back pirate crews. The next, supporting your team through a corporate group event or fine-tuning processes to improve flow and immersion.
This is a leadership role for someone who can balance operations, people management, and guest experience, while still being hands-on when it counts.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Venue Manager in overseeing daily venue operations
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Game Masters
- Ensure every guest receives a high-quality, immersive experience
- Maintain venue presentation — rooms reset perfectly, FOH sharp, standards upheld
- Oversee bookings, large group events and customer enquiries
- Assist with rostering, training and performance development
- Step in to run games, troubleshoot tech, and problem-solve in real time
- Monitor KPIs and support business performance
- Take charge confidently when the Venue Manager is off-site
Who You Are
You’re proactive, organised and people-focused. You understand that in live entertainment, detail matters, from how a room is reset to how a story is delivered.
You’ll bring:
